The location and the villa are perfect for a quiet relaxed holiday. Enough far from the crowd places but still near to places, we wanted to visit. As we went out and explored the island and beaches almost every day, the location was perfect as it put us in close proximity to everything: beach, restaurants, tavernas, bars... all reachable within a 3-5 min drive. I think that the pictures accurately reflect the property....it deserves a 5*****. There is also a beautiful beach (Platanes Beach) within a few minutes drive where we enjoyed an early morning stroll. We found the people of Agia Triada and Rethymno very friendly and the local food tasty. We also liked their local wines, you have to try them while you are there. Do not hesitate to book this place and villa. Would highly recommend it to everybody (couples, families, retirees...)

I cant say enough about this villa and its secluded location. My family recently returned home from the property and had the best time! The Villa Asimenia and Rethymno were perfect for my family. We loved alternating days between exploring different beaches and having relaxing days at the villa. There are many excellent beaches nearby and also great restaurants, bars, and a supermarket within a few minutes drive from the villa and the sea/beach (Platanes Beach) is only 10 minutes drive. The place is very charming and clean and ideal for a family. The villa had everything we needed. I havent felt so relaxed and connected to a place in a long time. The villa was spotless on arrival and extremely cozy. The beds were nice and we all had a good nights rest. Working with Agni Travel was also great as they were also a quick phone call away to answer any questions. Overall, highly recommended. You are sure to be satisfied and relaxed during a stay in this villa.

It was a beautiful spacious well-equipped villa in a peaceful hillside location approx 15 mins drive from the center of Rethymno where there was plenty of life if you want it. The kids loved the occasional dip to the pool. Villa Asimenia is very spacious and we were grateful for the comfort of the sitting room in the villa as the weather was unseasonably chilly at night. We do rent a hire car as we wanted to visit also other places in Crete. There is no better way to enjoy an evening meal than on the veranda of Villa Asimenia enjoying the incredible sunsets. We hope to return soon!

We had a good holiday, beautiful villa. 3 days the weather was cloudly and much wind. The distance to the Lidl, the beach and the tavernea€™s was too far to walk, so we must need the car every time.

We had an absolutely wonderful time at Villa Asimenia. We had an incredible family vacation. The house is clean and tidy, the pool is pristine, the garden is beautiful, and the most amazing beach is just a few steps away. A perfect place for a quiet and relaxing family holiday.

We can recommed villa to families with children. A car is needed.

Just wonderful, property beautiful, quiet and private location. Perfect hideaway from city and rush. Nearest supermarket in few kilometers and short distance to motorway. Plenty of rooms and privacy for everyone. Nice pool area and many sunbeds. Also good barbecue area.

Absolutely stunning getaway. Beautifully maintained lovely grounds comfortable and air conditioning that actually works and works well. Spacious comfortable and very private. Our best ever, Owner was extremely helpful and spoke excellent English. Seriously want to go back there

We were stunned by just how handsome Asimenia actually is, it looked amazing in the photos but its even better in real life. I actually couldnt wait until the sun started to set as the outside lighting made the villa and pool feel so atmospheric. The dishwasher got alot of use as we just didnt want to leave the villa, we even managed a barbecue. Thank you to everyone that helped with clean towels, bedding and general maintenance of the villa, it is obvious that people work hard to keep this place magical.
