Our group of 10 absolutely loved our time in Chania and our stay at the Souda Bay View Villa! The beautiful view from the back balconies are hard to put into words, but it was nothing short of breathtaking. From start to finish communication was kind and efficient. Those that came to check on us were also kind and helpful. We hope to be able to travel back to this house again and would recommend this home to anyone looking for a place to stay on Crete!

We had a really beautiful stay at Souda Bay View villa. Its a stunning holiday home. There are amazing sights and sounds of the sea throughout the property. The panoramic views across the bay are to die for. We stayed there in early April and so there was a cool breeze but I can imagine that in the summer months the sea breeze would be a life saver. This villa has multiple outdoor amenities; the beautiful pool area; the terrace off the living room ideal for sundowners; the barbecue / breakfast area that catches the morning sun complete with giant-sized chess board; and finally the pretty much private beach area which, although admittedly accessed by a steep and slightly precarious track, became part of our daily routine. The water is crystal clear and a comfortable 16C for swimming in April. The sleeping accommodation was just as described by Agni Travel. The beds were comfortable. The whole villa, both inside and outside, was impeccably clean on our arrival. We were greeted by our host Stratos the morning after our overnight arrival. Stratos gave us a very warm, Greek welcome. It makes such a difference when your host makes time to chat and to ensure that you feel completely at home. Stratos is a real gent! Theres plenty to see nearby. The archaeological sites at Aptera are mind boggling in terms of the history they present to you almost at your doorstep. They are so accessible and almost understated; a definite must-see. Make sure to visit "The Aptera" Tavern, less than 10 minutes drive away which serves fantastic Greek food, looking onto snow capped mountains to the south (at least in April!). Chania, to the northwest, is about a 20 minutes drive and is a busy seaside town with some really nice restaurants. Its great for an evening trip. We dined twice at a family-owned restaurant called "Steki" located on a beautiful little side street near the town centre (really amazing Greek food). All in all, our holiday was a memorable one, made all the more so by our stay at this really special cliff top villa "Souda Bay View". Well be back.

A very spacious villa with a view to die for. Souda Bay View is a really straightforward drive from Chania Airport, very easy to find. Its in a great position overlooking Souda Bay, with the most glorious sunsets. With only five of us we were spoilt for choice with the bedrooms, the boys opting for the separate apartment which they loved. Well equipped kitchen and a big fridge, all very practical, and the option to dine inside or out with big tables and a BBQ. The pool is a good size and very clean, theres lots of space to relax on sunbeds and big parasols for shade. We all loved the beach, which felt totally private - just pop through a little gate then a short walk down a slope. Clear water and lots of fish to see - great snorkelling. The track down to the villa is quite steep so youll need a car with a bit of oomph to get back up! A good sized supermarket, bakeries, coffee shops and restaurants just a few minutes drive away in Kalyves. I would book another holiday here at the drop of a hat. Sue

We loved our stay in your beautiful house! The view was amazing. we walked down to the ocean a couple of Timesa€™ and really enjoyed the privacy in the little bay. The pool was perfect and all of the 5 kids (age 1-5) really enjoyed it. and we as parents were happy to see the pool was downstairs and that there were a gate giving the kids a bit harder time to try to go there on their own. Again, and overall, we loved our stay at the villa!

The position and pool is excellent

We add a first class vacation full of joy and discoveries. The views from the front deck of the Souda Bay villa are simply enchanting and even though I have traveled a lot in my life, I have never had a villa with such views on the Mediterranean.. People in Crete are very welcoming, the food is great and so is the wine. An absolute must is the freshly squeezed orange juice. The beaches are extremely nice, with clear waters and good snorkeling from some. The rides in the mountains are superb. Strolling through the old towns is extremely nice and Chanias old town is only fifteen minutes away whilst Rethymnos old town (narrower streets, extremely nice place) is less than one hour and well worth the ride.e Both road to the South (coastal and through mountains) are extremely scenic. In a nutshell, go to Crete for a great vacation!

It is a fantastic villa in a beautiful setting. The pool and villa were cleaned to very high standards throughout our stay. This is the fourth time we have used Agni Travel and would consider doing so again.

The villa is even better than in the pics. The pool is big with lots of sun beds to chill, tan or just observe the breathtaking view with a glass of vino. The house is very specious and clean. You can find supermarkets 5-10 minutes and great restaurants 30 minutes always in the city (Chania). All rooms come with air-conditioning. The kitchen is fully equipped, when going grocery shopping, don't forget to get big trash bags & toilet paper. There is a washing machine so you can get the necessary products as well. Had an amazing time, highly recommended. 5*

The villa is even better than the pictures. Amazing Pool side and breathtaking views. Supermarket 10 minutes away restaurants and tavernas all over. We were 4 couples with 3 children and it was spacious and perfect to spend time in family. You can't go wrong if looking to spend a great time with family or friends. Highly recommended we will be back for sure

We had a very nice stay and the property was wonderful together with the amazing view. It is likely that we will return another time. The service from the Agni Team was perfect.

Souda Bay was fascinating with military presence in and out of the bay. Our beach was lovely and secluded. Day trips from this location were excellent. 5 day trips I would recommend Elephonisis Beach Nostros Winery (near Chania)Old Town Chania Georgopolis and Lake Kournas (fish pedicure lake) GnossosIraklion Samaria Gorge. The people were stunning the food was amazing and I would highly recommend Crete and the Souda Bay Villa to anyone

I commend Stratos and his team for their excellent cleaning service. Friendly honest and helpful all the time.It was a comfortable stay. The location is great. Quiet remote but not far from shopping facilities. Agni Travel, I feel provided me with excellent service particularly when I needed urgent information regarding proof of accommodation for the South African contingent. The immediate messaging service on the Agni Travel website and the quick response to our needs was pleasantly and professionally handled. I'm very grateful for Agni Travel professional service no complaint there. I would recommend it to friends. And I would consider returning there at any time of the year. It is a beautiful spot for a quiet getaway.

We recently spent 10 nights at this Villa and it more than lived up to our expectations both internally and externally. The location is perfect too. Whilst the Villa enjoys the benefits of being in a private location it is just a short drive to the nearby Village of Kalives which has a large supermarket and a choice of Tavernas shops etc. The Villa itself enjoys spectacular views over Souda Bay especially at sunset. Souda Bay View is a 5* Villa with 5* back-up from both Agni Travel and from their local Agents; Eos Travel. Any request we made was dealt with immediately. We have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this Villa to others seeking a relaxing holiday.

We enjoyed the Villa so much that more than once we changed our exploring plans just to stay in and enjoy the setting. The personal attention by Stratos Maria and Nektaria was very much appreciated but not at all invasive of our privacy.

An excellent holiday.

A fantastic villa, the views are breathtaking...you never got tired of it. Its very isolated so you really could relax without being disturbed..The villa has plenty of space, even if we were 12 persons it didn't feel crowded. The local taverna had great food and the staff was very polite and helpful. Everyone in my travel company was so satisfied with the holiday and villa and maybe one day we might even return.

Fabulous. We all had SUCH a lovely time. The pool was perfect and even the goat track down to our beach was met as a happy challenge by the 2 grannies. The setting was fabulous and we wouldn't hesitate about coming back.

We had a great time and would recommend the house and location to anyone.
